Analysis of Band websites

Monstercat is a record label for a dance music artists and was voted the best dance label of 2017 at The dance music awards. The home page has a mainly black and white colour palette which matches the colours in the album art work displayed on the page. This creates synergy between the two which make the two pieces digitally convergent. The font in the menu bar is very basic in order to create a clean and professional aestehtic; this also better presents the artists albums by making their more colourful fonts stand out more. The logo is next to the company name in the the top left corner and stands out against the white background however is relatively small compared to the other contents of the page. This puts more emphasis on the artists work in an effort to represent them better. When you click on a certain artists page the background fill with their picture to give the viewer a better idea of the who the artists is which strengthens the relationship between the target audience and...
